I am new to printmaking and have enjoyed exploring a wide range of processes and techniques. Working across different methods has allowed me to experiment, learn through making, and build confidence in both traditional and contemporary approaches.

York has a rich print history, which has made this experience even more engaging. Between being a Graphics student and a member of Thin Ice Press, I have developed skills in typesetting, drypoint etching, risograph printing, screen printing, and lino cutting.

Each process offers something different, from precise, technical methods to more experimental approaches, all grounded in hands-on making. This variety has helped me better understand material processes and the value of experimentation in printmaking.
