Explore ways to illustrate yourself.   So this was a digital exercise, which included free hand sketching and tracing a photograph.

When tracing, it became very apparent I was frowning!  These were the deepest wrinkles, so this needed an adjustment, which is the beauty of digital illustration, you can remove the lines and cover the grey!

I do love how it evolved, and especially playing with the 'halftone' which I am a big fan off.     The paper collage, I have done before with a logo design, though I am frowning again!
